Schema & Structured Data

Schema and structured data that accurately describe your website.

Create consistent machine-readable information for your business, pages and supported content types, aligned with the facts visitors can see.

Give your website a coherent description beneath the design.

Existing structured-data and output-owner review. Entity and page-type mapping. Markup implementation for the selected templates.

Deliverables

Useful work, clearly defined.

Agree the supported page types and implementation access. Markup describes genuine visible information and does not guarantee a search feature.

01

Entity and page mapping

Identify the organisation, website and relevant page relationships from verified business facts. Unknown addresses, affiliations and credentials should stay out rather than be filled with plausible values.

02

Service and breadcrumb structure

Map descriptions to the actual service pages and their navigation hierarchy. Planned paths must be resolved before they are presented as canonical live destinations.

03

Output ownership

Check which platform component controls the structured data and related metadata. A deliberate integration is preferable to appending another block without reviewing what already exists.

04

Validation and maintenance

Check syntax and consistency with the visible page, then document what needs revisiting when the business or page changes. A passing format check is not a commercial result.

How the service helps

Keep entity identity consistent across templates

Structured data gives machines an explicit description of content and its relationships. A useful implementation begins with verified business information and the pages it belongs to. We review existing markup, identify the appropriate types and establish which component owns the output. The work then connects organisations, pages, services and breadcrumbs without creating conflicting identities. Validation checks the implementation and its consistency with visible content. Search appearance remains a platform decision, so the value of the work is an accurate and maintainable description.

One business should not acquire different names, URLs or identifiers from several plugins. Review the existing graph and connect page-level information to the correct organisation and website. Use verified properties only. When a page changes, its visible facts and structured data should be maintained together.

Schema & Structured Data: an example in practice

Observation

A fictional new service page inherits a medical organisation type from an unrelated template.

Proposed correction

Replace the inappropriate identity with verified business and page descriptions through the correct metadata owner.

Verification

Check that the resulting output matches the visible page and does not duplicate another component’s graph.

Process

From the first review to the next priority.

  1. Confirm the entities

Establish verified business details, canonical page destinations and page relationships.

  2. Review existing output

Identify current markup and the system responsible for generating it.

  3. Implement the selected types

Add or correct the agreed descriptions without duplicating conflicting information.

  4. Validate and document

Check the output and explain which business or content changes require an update.

Suitability

Who this work is for.

FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

Does Service schema guarantee a rich result?

No. Schema vocabulary and Google’s supported search features are different things. Markup can describe a service without creating a dedicated rich-result entitlement.

Can you work with our existing SEO plugin?

Yes, subject to the plugin’s supported controls. The preferred approach is a coherent output owner rather than appending several competing descriptions.

What if the page has FAQs?

Useful FAQs can remain visible content. Structured-data choices should follow current platform support; adding question markup is not a promise of enhanced search appearance.
