Hosting and email

Hostinger provides the website hosting and the email service. Its published data processing addendum says Hostinger is a processor for those services. The Hostinger company on this account’s invoice or agreement has not been confirmed. Enquiry email is kept in the mailbox. It is not a row in the website database. Account details are kept in the website database.

The website forms do not send enquiries to a CRM. That is a statement about this website only.

Location and transfers

The labelled hosting location, the labelled backup location, and the email-processing arrangements were not in the records available to this website. They are not inferred. A website location, even if later confirmed, would not by itself locate the email.

Hostinger’s addendum includes a safeguard for some international transfers. Wording that a transfer is necessary to provide the service is not treated as automatic justification for a transfer of this account’s information. The addendum’s global subprocessor list is not a list of providers that receive this site’s data.

Client work

Information a client asks Ascent to handle inside the client’s own marketing, billing or connected applications is not covered here. That work would need its own description and, where required, its own agreement.
