Example report

Example visibility report: turn an observation into a practical fix.

See how a fictional profile-and-website mismatch becomes a documented finding, an owner-confirmed correction and a useful follow-up check.

An Example Visibility Report

Follow a finding from observation to verification

In this illustrative example, a bakery’s Google Business Profile and website display different Saturday opening hours. The inconsistency is easy to notice, but the correct schedule still needs confirmation from the business. The report structure below separates the observation, missing information, proposed action and verification. It shows how to make a narrow finding useful without turning it into an unsupported claim about rankings or sales.

1. Review objective

Question: can a customer rely on the visible Saturday opening information and choose an appropriate contact or visit? Scope: the fictional profile, its website destination and owner-confirmed hours. This is not a complete SEO audit or an assessment of every search location.

2. Observed information

The example contains two different Saturday schedules. Record the two visible sources and when they were inspected in a real review. Do not choose the more plausible schedule or assume the profile is correct merely because it is on a platform.

3. Information required from the owner

Ask the business to confirm its ordinary Saturday hours, known exceptions and the effective date of any change. Separate the regular schedule from a temporary closure. The owner’s confirmation is an input still required before a factual correction is approved.

4. Proposed correction

Prepare consistent updates for the relevant visible destinations using the confirmed information. Record which system and account owns each change. A recommendation is not marked completed simply because the wording has been drafted.

5. Verification after the change

Recheck what customers can see once the approved changes have been applied. Note any platform processing or cache-related uncertainty rather than assume an edit is visible immediately. Confirm that the website link and contact information still make sense.

6. Reporting the boundary

Completion would establish that the checked information agrees with the supplied facts at the time of review. It would not, by itself, prove improved rankings, more visits or increased sales. Those outcomes would need appropriate additional evidence.

7. Next actions

Close the factual mismatch when verified, record any remaining questions and identify the owner for future hours changes. Any broader visibility sample, website work or recurring management belongs in a separately agreed scope rather than being silently added to the report.
