Questions and consent

Registration questions with published versions. Not a clinical record system.

The pilot published a new question version and left existing saved answers in place. Marketing consent and clinical consent are different subjects and are not implied by a registration question.

Registration questions

The owner can keep registration questions in draft and publish a version. Saved answers from the previous version stay attached to their visits.

New pilot result on 1.2.104

On the upgrade clone, preview and publish moved the published version from 6 to 7 and left the existing answers unchanged. An unknown version is rejected as stale. Draft questions stay off the live form.

Before you start. A published version. Required questions are enforced for the context they target. The pilot’s fresh site also switched language without changing money.

Limit. This is not a general-purpose form builder and not clinical consent. Editing a question does not rewrite old answers in the upgrade result. The pack does not translate every author-written question until a translation is saved.

Technical details

Why it matters. The business can ask a general question without losing the answers already collected.

Example. The owner adds a question, previews it, publishes, and older visits still show the answers they stored.

Who uses it. The business owner writes the questions. The customer answers the published set. Owner question editor and the booking or registration form.

Policies and marketing consent

A registration question is not the same thing as a booking policy or a marketing opt-in. The difference was not given its own 1.2.104 check.

Not determined

The question tool’s publish behaviour is evidenced. A separate policy document and a marketing checkbox were not.

Before you start. Unresolved.

Limit. Do not describe a registration answer as marketing consent or as clinical consent.

Technical details

Why it matters. Customers should be able to tell a required booking condition from an optional mailing list. This guide will not invent the screens.

Example. The owner wants a privacy policy acknowledgement and a separate mailing-list tick. Unverified as two controls.

Who uses it. The business owner. Unknown as separate fields.

Status: Not determined. Origin: Not determined. Candidate 1.2.104 is not an accepted commercial release. Not verified for this guide. Described as unresolved rather than as an available feature.
