Requirements and availability

Ascent Booking is appointment software for one business on its own WordPress installation. Candidate 1.2.104 was exercised in a local pilot and is not an accepted commercial release. It does not collect customer appointment payments and it does not sell a software subscription.

Product

Name
Ascent Direct Booking. The plugin screen says Ascent Booking.
Candidate
1.2.104-ab-self-service.integrated-r11
Edition
WordPress plugin, one business for each installation
Vendor
Ascent Media, at ascent-media.io. Ascent Booking is a separate product from Ascent Maps and from Ascent Studio.
Commercial acceptance
Not accepted. Local slices for owner setup and for services, practitioners, and weekly hours were accepted earlier. The whole 1.2.104 candidate was not.
Price
No approved public price is stated here.
Money
IDR and GBP were the currencies exercised, with their own storage scales. Appointment charges are recorded values, not cash collected by this plugin.
Time
Appointments use the business clock. The pilot published Asia/Makassar and also has Europe/London evidence from earlier candidates.
Languages
English and Bahasa Indonesia for the interface. Right-to-left layout was not part of the pilot. A page that can be read from another country is not a list of supported countries, and it is not worldwide payment coverage.
Catalogue
29 records have cited local evidence, comprising 23 new pilot results, 2 reused earlier results and 4 previously accepted work. These results do not constitute commercial acceptance. 70 records are listed. Listing a record does not mean it is included. Industry scenarios, service-menu patterns, writing units, and legacy inventory rows are not extra features.
Other Ascent products
Ascent Maps is a different product. This guide states no Maps price, no Maps checkout, and no Maps feature as an Ascent Booking feature.
Public reading
These pages are the public pre-release documentation for candidate 1.2.104. The evidence they cite is local test evidence. Publishing this guide does not turn those tests into production verification. Earlier requirement lists and private editorial drafts are not a newer approval.
Runtime
This guide does not certify a PHP, WordPress, database, or host range for production.

Deployment

The current edition is a WordPress plugin. Hosted booking, in the decisions for this product, means Ascent can run that WordPress installation for the business. It does not mean a separate WordPress-free booking engine. One installation is for one business. A shared multi-tenant service is a later idea, not this candidate.
