A smaller screen changes the experience
A website may fit on a phone and still feel awkward to use. A prospective customer may be distracted, have a slow connection or need a quick answer. What matters is whether they can understand the offer and reach the next step comfortably. The mobile experience deserves attention as a complete customer journey.

Recognise the moments of hesitation
Small uncertainties can accumulate: a service that is hard to find, competing buttons, an overlay in the way or a form that asks for information the visitor does not have. These are design and communication decisions as much as technical ones. A passing automated check cannot tell you whether the whole journey makes sense.
A booking button may be easy to tap, yet lead to a page where the visitor cannot tell which appointment to choose. The button passes its test; the journey still needs thought.

Look at the journey as a whole
A useful mobile review considers how content, navigation, accessibility and forms work together. Recommendations should protect the things your business needs while reducing unnecessary effort for the visitor. Ascent’s starting point is the action you want customers to take. That gives the design discussion a purpose beyond simply making the page look different.
A review can identify friction and propose improvements. It cannot predict an enquiry uplift without evidence from real use.
Picture your ideal mobile enquiry. What should the customer understand beforehand, what should they be able to do, and what should happen afterwards?

Choose the journey to discuss
You do not need to arrive with design solutions. A description of the experience you want, the devices your customers use and any concerns you have is enough to begin. A clear brief helps distinguish a focused improvement from a wider redesign.
